If you live in a relative urban area, you know space does not come in cheap. Storage space are even harder to come by. So when you have a garage or a storage area, most of us would like to maximize our space in the most efficient way. This is where overhead storage rack comes into place. It is a space saving storage solution that help and allow many of us solve our storage problem(s).
Here’s the challenge for us, we do not have a flat roof in our garage, so we had to modify and accommodate by purchasing extra studs to serve as structural elements so we can mount it with the gable roof. Many of the parts were already preassembled in the box but there are still a lot of little bits and pieces to figure out. You really have to get organize before you start this project. Luckily, there is a manual that comes with the package that is fairly easy to read and understand.
The components are all made with all quality materials, you won’t be disappointed in this aspect. You will need an electrical drill so your life would be a lot easier. With an construction background, I must say this is not an easy task. It would be best you get a friend to help you, but if you must, it also can be done by one person (but not recommended).
This product only comes in 2 colors to choose from: Black and/ or White. I do wish it will expand to at least one more color in the near future – Grey.
In conclusion, I rate this FLEXIMOUNTS 4×8 Heavy Duty Overhead Garage Adjustable Ceiling Storage Rack 5 out of 5 Stars. It is a high quality overhead storage solution that is well worth your time and money. It certainly help me organize my garage and increase the storage amount in the most organize fashion. Even my picky husband is very happy with this product and gave me a thumbs up.
